How to rent a Succession palace

With the fourth and final series of Succession now on our television screens, the plot is getting thicker than ever as the nasty and utterly compelling saga of the fictional media dynasty heads towards its climax.

But while the war between foul-mouthed tycoon Logan Roy, played by Brian Cox, and his scheming sons remains the focus, some viewers believe the show’s biggest stars are the incredible backdrops for the unfolding drama.

And surprisingly, it is possible to follow in the footsteps of millionaires by renting these places to steal scenes.

You might fancy the six-bedroom, 18-bathroom San Onofre Estate, which played host to Roy’s heirs Shiv, Kendall and Roman when they gathered to plot against their father. It is owned by tech entrepreneur Austin Russell, 28, who paid £67m for it in 2021.

It was privately leased in 2020 for £280,000 a month. A drop in the ocean, if you’re a Roy.
