Ashley James left ‘vulnerable’ as she showcases her postpartum figure since welcoming daughter Ada
Ashley James took to Instagram on Saturday with a sweet montage documenting the first month since welcoming daughter Ada.
The 35-year-old DJ and podcaster has welcomed her second child, her partner of four and a half years, Tommy Andrews.
In the clips, the former reality star showed the little girl reuniting with her extended family and two-year-old older brother Alfie.
She also bravely showed off her postpartum figure and went topless in a series of mirror selfies that revealed the process had left her feeling ‘vulnerable’.
She wrote: “March 2023: The month I never wanted to end.”

“I think I can safely say that this has been the happiest month of my life. I’ve had some amazing moments in life, but I’ve never been good at stopping and living fully in the present.’
She continued: ‘Usually I’m always thinking ahead or thinking too much. This month I really slowed down and shut down and kept my world really small and just lived in the moment.
‘I had such a feeling of wanting time to stop. Wanting to savor every smell and enjoy that period of newborn life when your everyday life stops.
Before saying: ‘At the same time that I feel immense gratitude and happiness, I also feel so vulnerable. I think that is why I have given myself a proper rest. The only way I can describe how I feel is like this: I feel like my happiness is made of glass and could break at any moment if I think too much’.
‘About the challenges ahead, about work, about opinions, about my self-esteem, so for now, I’ve only focused on being a mother. in my family. In my amazing friends. On becoming a mom outside of confinement. And it’s been wonderful.’
He continued: There’s a lot to tell you guys, but for now, these are some of my highlights from the month that I never wanted to finish. I’m glad I finished it because I plan to move on… With many adventures.’
“I’m waiting for Alf and Tommy to get off their flight to join us so we can enjoy my birthday weekend as a family of 4.”
Before adding: ‘Now let’s hope April is full of sunshine and positive energy for all of us.’

Last week, Ashley announced the name she and Tommy had chosen for the little one, choosing iAda Isabella Blue Andrews.
She said Hello! magazine: ‘We thought Ada was a really beautiful name and I was also inspired by Ada Lovelace who was a famous mathematician and scientist.
“She got acclaim for inventing computer programming and Tommy works in tech, so we liked that link.
“Isabella is named after my grandmother, who is an amazing woman, and we chose Blue because Alfie’s middle name is Rivers and I love references to water.”

The media personality shared a touching photo of her and Tommy cradling their newborn’s hand.
Alongside the post, she wrote: ‘Just wanted to let you know our baby girl is here. We are both happy and healthy and we are all very much in love.
“We’re taking some time to enjoy this newborn bubble and connect as a family of 4. ❤️ But I can’t wait for you to meet her.”
Her celebrity friends quickly took to the comments section to share their heartfelt congratulations to the star.
