Posing in front of the Thames, the star also donned a pair of cream trousers and styled her hair in a braid.

Announcing her partnership with Rimmel on Friday, Maya said: “Very excited to announce that I am the new Global Brand Ambassador for @RimmelLondonUKi.

“I grew up with this brand and dreamed of saying the iconic ‘London look’ line on TV one day and now it’s happening. I don’t even have the words, following in the footsteps of Kate Moss, Adwoa and more doesn’t even make sense on my mind, but I’m honored.

‘I, a 16 year old, who moved to London from Bristol with a bag of dreams, would not have believed you if you said that 12 years later I would be part of such a legendary London staple.

‘London is my home and now you can see me living the London Look.’

Finally overcoming her heartbreak, Maya moved to London in 2012 when she was 16, and for many years struggled to earn enough money to commute to work.

She said sunday times earlier this month: ‘I was broke, pretending I’d lost my Oyster card every day so I could go to work. Rushing around London, eating chicken for a pound sterling every day.
