Protests erupt in Israel amid the Netanyahu government’s push for wide-ranging judicial reform. Moreover, the Greek wiretapping scandal of its journalists does not receive enough media attention.

Benjamin Netanyahu’s far-right government is taking on Israeli protesters provoked by sweeping changes in the country’s judiciary. Adding to the cacophony is the coverage of channels ranging from Fox-style Channel 14, with its conspiracy theories and pro-government talking points, to the opportunistic Channel 13, which is trying to recast itself in support of the protests.
