Fourth wife of Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen’s new lover likens him to Henry VIII

The fourth ex-wife of new Yorkshire Shepherdess lover Amanda Owen compared the web designer to Henry VIII, stating that he is “ruthless” and “loves the chase”.

Amanda, 48, has been in a five-year affair with businessman Robert Davies, 71, the first since she split from her Our Yorkshire Farm co-star Clive.

Robert is currently married to Yusami, 56, who was ‘completely shocked’ when news of the affair broke, she is his fifth wife.

Now, Jan Coates, 72, the fourth of their spouses, has told the Daily Mail that she “hasn’t changed in two decades” as she proceeds to “get married, have an affair and move on”.

His ex-wife revealed that he cheated two years into their marriage, which came to an end in 2001.

Jan explained: ‘That’s what she does, she gets married, has an affair and moves on. He is very charming, but he is also very ruthless in the way he treats people. I think he gets bored easily.

“But if he married Amanda Owen it would be like Henry VIII with six wives and that’s not normal.

It hasn’t changed in two decades. I’m not vicious or vindictive, but I would say that he loves to hunt women and he loves fame and fortune. But maybe they will suit each other.

Amanda announced her separation from Clive, 68, in July, with whom she has nine children, shortly after they said their marriage had hit a “difficult patch”.

She has known her new love Robert for at least five years since she recruited him to update her personal website in 2018.

Their friendship is believed to have blossomed through working closely together.

It comes after Robert’s fifth wife was “completely shocked” after he left her for the TV star, friends have told MailOnline.

Yusami’s friends have recounted their shock after the businessman left the family home and ended his 12-year marriage after confessing he had an affair.

They say she discovered the relationship last year when she found a love letter for her husband while cleaning his car.

A source close to Yusami said: “She is absolutely heartbroken by what happened.” She can’t believe it.

She gave up her banking career after meeting Rob in Tokyo and he convinced her to leave all her family and friends in Japan to start a new life with him in the UK.

Now he has left her alone to start a new relationship with Amanda. She is so upset and alone.

Amanda and web designer Mr Davies were photographed together this weekend and are said to be ‘inseparable’, despite their 23-year age difference.

The source close to Yusami added, “Yasumi suspected for some time that Robert was up to something. He felt as if he wasn’t really present around him and his head was elsewhere.

‘He was cleaning the car and found a handwritten note. There was no name, but it was pretty clear who she was.

‘Yasumi asked Rob for an explanation and he said that he had fallen in love with Amanda and they had been seeing each other for five years.

‘It was an unexpected lightning bolt for Yasumi. She left Japan to move to the UK for Robert and he just dumped her.

They continued: ‘She knew he had a friendship with Amanda, but she thought it was nothing more. They did a skeet shoot together in 2021 and he accompanied her on her theatrical tours, but insisted there was nothing more.

“It was only when he found the letter that he realized what had been going on.”

Robert, who has three children from three previous marriages, is understood to have ended the relationship with Amanda in March 2022 after his wife gave him an ultimatum.

But she moved out two months later after rekindling the romance with the Our Yorkshire Farm star.
