Renee Bargh welcomes her first child with partner Andrew Lange and reveals baby boy’s VERY unusual name – while sharing intimate photos of giving birth in the water
Renee Bargh has welcomed her first child with her partner Andrew Lange – a little boy named Tide.
In a post on Instagram, the 36-year-old shared intimate footage of the birth and revealed that the baby had arrived two weeks ago.
The TV presenter wrote in her caption, “Tide Thomas Lange. Being your mom and dad for almost two weeks.
“All the clichés they tell you are true… your heart really gets bigger, the love for your partner grows exponentially, time stands still,” she continued.
“You can’t imagine life before they existed and you will do anything to protect this little human being.
“We’ll be staring at our little guy here in the love bubble until further notice,” she concluded.

The sequence of black and white images showed Andrew comforting Renee during her water birth, as well as the couple lying in bed with their newborn baby.
The pair were inundated with well wishes from their famous friends in the comments below the post.

The mom-to-be announced she was expecting her first child in September and posted a gallery of photos on Instagram of herself and partner Andrew on the beach.

The baby news came months after the couple bought their first home together on Sydney’s Northern Beaches for $2,475,000.
Their 1950s house in Avalon sits on a 460 sq ft block and has four bedrooms, two baths, a stone kitchen and an open plan living and dining area.
The property last sold in 2013 for $795,000.
While it’s unclear how long they’ve been dating, Renee and Andrew went “Instagram-official” in November 2021.
She recently called him “my person” in a sweet Instagram post.

Renee was a red carpet correspondent for the American entertainment news show Extra from 2010 to 2020, a role that won her two Emmys.
Since returning to Australia during the Covid pandemic, she has worked as a stand-in entertainment presenter for Nine’s Today show.
Her other notable roles include co-hosting the ninth season of The Voice Australia in 2020 alongside Darren McMullen.
She started her career as a presenter for the Australian music network Channel [V].
In April 2021, she participated in the eighteenth season of Dancing with the Stars.
