Mother of missing Texas six-year-old moves to India with her six kids

A six-year-old boy who suffered from mental and physical disabilities and who had been missing for four months lived inside a cramped, restored shed filled with wall-to-wall clutter with his six siblings.

Noel Rodríguez-Álvarez was last seen in Everman, Texas, in November, but was not reported missing when police conducted a welfare check on March 20.

Police believe his mother, Cindy Rodríguez-Singh, 37, fled to India on March 23 with her husband and six of their children, believed to be between the ages of five and 11. Noel is nowhere to be found.

Pictures from inside the house show toys, clothes, baby products and food left in the shed with only two beds inside the terrible dwelling.

“Circumstantial evidence is certainly building up to a level where it becomes criminal,” Everman Police Chief Craig Spencer said. foxnews.

Cindy had lived in the house at the front of the property for years before moving into the back shed when her family grew too large for the original dwelling.

She lived in the shed with seven children, while three other children are said to live with their grandparents, according to police.

The shed’s owner, Charles Parson, 71, told the outlet he was “shocked” to hear his tenant had left the country without saying a word and he doesn’t think she hurt Noel on purpose.

Parson considered himself a ‘godfather’ figure in the lives of the boy and his brother and told the broadcaster that he took Cindy away almost a decade ago.

He said he met Cindy at the grocery store and that she was having a “tough time” and offered to help. The 71-year-old woman was devastated that she left without saying goodbye to her.

“They are afraid of getting into trouble with the law,” he said.

They are afraid that they have done something wrong.

Parson struggles with health issues and was in the hospital last week with plans to be picked up by Cindy’s husband, Noel’s stepfather, but no one came to help him.

Police were called on March 20 for a wellness check on Noel and questioned Cindy, who claimed her young son was with his biological father in Mexico.

Child Protective Services contacted Noel’s father, who told Fox News that he had never met his son and had been deported before he was born.

Everman police contacted Cindy again on March 23, but she is believed to have left the country by then and an Amber Alert was issued two days later.

In the midst of the investigation, police said they learned that Noel had never been enrolled in a school.

‘We have a six-year-old disabled child [who] You can’t explain it,” Spencer said.

“He has a requirement to receive oxygen at certain times and we don’t know if he is receiving it.”

Spencer said her investigators believe the family members who were interviewed had been “trained” to say the boy was seen recently, even though he was missing longer.

The family is believed to have boarded a flight to Turkey and then transferred to head to India.

Everman police reviewed documents obtained from the family’s residence and from their 2012 Chevrolet pickup truck, which was found parked at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

Spencer said investigators found a travel visa for one of Cindy’s children inside the vehicle.

The visa is believed to have been obtained one day after the authorities carried out the welfare check.

“There are a lot of gaps in the answers that we’ve been getting as part of this investigation that we need to continue to fill,” Spencer said.

A cadaver dog was also used to search the family’s living space and yard “to cover all of our bases,” Spencer said.

Homeland Security and the FBI were also hired to help with the investigation.

Authorities issued an arrest warrant for the 37-year-old mother for making a false missing person report.
