Taylor Swift will receive a major honor ahead of her three-night run over the weekend in Arlington, Texas.
On Thursday, the city announced that the 33-year-old pop superstar, who received the Innovator Award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards this week, will receive a key to the city.

He noted that Las Vegas had recently lit up its Gateway Arches in colors corresponding to different eras of Swift’s career, while also mocking Glendale, Arizona, for going overboard by briefly changing its name to Swift City.
Arlington hoped he had found an appropriate middle ground by renaming a street after the singer from Anti-Hero.

Animals that had been at the shelter for a long time or were elderly could be adopted for just $9, “in honor of Swift’s 9 No. 1 Hits.”
