While Tom Brady has hung up his cleats at the professional level, he apparently hasn’t given up football entirely, having channeled his inner ‘Maverick’ into a Top Gun-style impromptu game.
The recently retired quarterback was joined by his former New England Patriot teammates Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola and others as they recreated the 2022 movie Top Gun: Maverick.
The NFL stars enjoyed a football game on the beach in the Bahamas over the weekend and appeared to be living out the now iconic shirtless beach scene from the Tom Cruise movie.
In a new video shared by the Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover model and Gronkowski’s long-time girlfriend Camille Kostek, Brady and company can be seen running routes and celebrating plays.
Gronkowski even made it to the viral airborne hip slam celebration from last year’s hit movie.

The quarterback was joined by Rob Gronkowski, who even hit the airborne hip slam celebration.
Kostek also shared a series of photos on her Instagram of her sunbathing in a skimpy blue bikini and Gronkowski humorously posing for the camera in a pair of diving goggles.
On Tuesday, legendary Patriots and Bucs star Brady shared photos of himself at a beach soccer game, still looking fit as he assumed his usual quarterback role.
In one image, Brady can be seen talking to his son Jack.
But the seven-time Super Bowl winner also had the company of his former New England teammates.
Julian Edelman and Wes Welker were seen with drinks in hand, while Rob Gronkowski was humorously captured wearing glasses in the water.
“Beach day with the crew,” he captioned the Instagram post.
Brady retired, for the second time, in February after 23 seasons and an iconic career.
The event was reportedly organized by the quarterback’s billionaire friend, Jeff Sofer.
However, a source told Page Six that it was “not a retirement party.” They were kids and some of the guys playing soccer on the beach… nothing out of the ordinary.

The retired NFL legend still has his pitching way as he was throwing a ball at the beach.

Meanwhile, Brady is reportedly “dating” after his divorce from ex-wife Gisele Bundchen.
Brady and Bundchen divorced after 13 years of marriage last October, during football season, amid constant suggestions that the Brazilian supermodel was unhappy with her ‘retirement’ last year.
In his statement, Brady, 45, said it had been a ‘difficult’ and ‘painful’ decision the couple made after ‘a lot of consideration’, while Gisele, 42, said: ‘Ending a marriage is never easy… we have separate.
Bundchen was reportedly upset with the seven-time Super Bowl winner’s decision to retire last year and gave him an ultimatum forcing him to choose their relationship over his sports career.
But the model slammed those rumors in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, calling the speculation “very hurtful” while insisting that she just “wanted all her dreams to come true.”
And Brady’s good friend and former tight end Gronkowski was also seen in the water.
Brady and Bundchen announced they had separated after 13 years of marriage in October.
