The first contestant was officially revealed on Wednesday: KIIS FM radio host Woody Whitelaw.

“We shoot the titles every year in Sydney and gather all the celebrities in a secret location,” he said.

Tate added that only three publicists know who the celebrities are.
He said there’s a good mix of household names and lesser-known celebrities on this year’s lineup, and the one thing they all have in common is that they’re all “really funny.”
Among the celebrities rumored to be heading to the South African jungle include WAG soccer player Bec Judd, NRL star Sam Burgess, comedian Tommy Little and chef Shannon Bennett.
The hosts of I’m a Celebrity, Julia Morris and Chris Brown, are gearing up to welcome back celebrities.
Woody Whitelaw was the first celebrity of the season to be officially announced.
Speaking on the Kyle and Jackie O Show on Wednesday, Woody said he had heard rumors that Studio 10 host Angela Bishop and boxer Harry Garside would be joining him.
