Good Morning Britain’s Laura Tobin suffers an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction live on air
Laura Tobin suffered an embarrassing wardrobe failure on Wednesday while going live on Good Morning Britain.
The 41-year-old presenter began the show with a segment about the Daffodil display at Hever Castle in Kent.
But when the camera focused on her, she realized that she had left a pink curler in her hair and hastily took it out.
Embarrassed by the unfortunate blunder, she said, ‘Whoa, I just realized I have my rolling pin in there…get it out.’
As if nothing had happened, Laura collected herself and continued with her version of the special exhibition.
Strange! Laura Tobin suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction on Wednesday while she was filming live for Good Morning Britain.
Despite her awkward malfunction, Laura looked gorgeous in a yellow suede jacket and a green turtleneck top.
She finished her look with a stunning makeup palette, and after removing a roller, she left her brown locks in loose waves.
This isn’t the first time Laura has been tripped live on air.
Last year, while filming the ITV show, she was interrupted by a mischievous Austrian weatherman.
Laura was on the Nordkette mountain range in Innsbruck, Austria to present the weather for the show live from the country’s largest nature park.
He joined 30 other weather presenters from 20 channels from around the world for the annual International Weather Summit.
However, when Laura attempted to conduct her segment live and speak to hosts Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard, she was repeatedly interrupted.
An Austrian weatherman tried to offer her a piece of cake before starting to sing, while another Polish weatherman also started performing a tune earlier in the show.
‘I bring you the traditional Austrian cake called Sachertorte,’ said the Australian meteorologist as Laura tried to introduce the weather.
Fast! As the camera panned her way, she noticed that she had left a pink curler in her hair and hurried to take it out.
Then: The presenter, 41, had started the show with a segment about the Daffodil display at Hever Castle in Kent.
When she took him off the screen, he started to sing.
Viewers were baffled by the scenes and took to Twitter to suggest that the group of presenters were “drunk”.
“That Polish weatherman is clearly drunk,” one wrote, while a second added: “Austrian weatherman is pissed off.”
‘I love the other European weather presenters in Innsbruck. I want to go to his after party! They look fun! said a third.
Viewers also criticized the ‘hypocrisy’ of the weather presenters for traveling to Austria for a summit discussing how to combat climate change.
‘So is it okay for weather presenters to fly around the world and then preach about climate change?’ wrote one person.
And in April of that year, Laura was left red-faced on an episode of Good Morning Britain after accidentally suggesting that she and her husband were in an open marriage.
The weather presenter’s on-air gaffe saw her blurt out that her partner Dean Brown, who has never been photographed, will “let me go with anyone” when discussing who will play Kate Middleton in the upcoming series of The Crown .
Her co-stars Susanna Reid and Ed Balls were delighted by her comment, and Laura was quickly forced to take back what she said.
Oops: Last year, while filming the ITV show, she was interrupted by a mischievous Austrian weatherman in a funny moment.
While discussing the success of Netflix, Susanna noted that the weather presenter Laura resembled the Duchess of Cambridge and might audition for the role.
Laura replied: ‘Well, actually I have a (daughter) Charlotte, so I’m halfway there, I just need two more children. And a husband named William. So if you could work on that, while I do the weather.
Susanna then asked, ‘What will Dean say?’ and Laura nonchalantly replied, ‘He’s fine, he’ll let me go with anyone.’
As everyone in the studio burst out laughing, a mortified Laura declared, ‘I’m not serious! Let’s go to time.
