Arizona Governor’s press sec tweets meme about SHOOTING transphobes after trans killer massacred six
Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs’ press secretary shared an image of a woman with a gun in a tweet criticizing transgender people just hours after a transgender shooter killed six people at a Christian school.
Josselyn Berry uploaded a gif of a woman holding two guns on Monday night along with the caption “Us when we watch transphobic.”
It came less than 12 hours after Nashville resident Audrey Hale, 28, who had recently adopted the name Aiden and used the pronouns he/she, killed three children and three adults in a mass shooting at the school. Covenant on Monday.
Republicans have now called for Berry’s firing following the nasty tweet that prompted her to turn her Twitter profile private.
Berry, who has only worked for Hobbs since January, shared a photo of actress Gena Rowlands in the 1980 film “Gloria.”
Josselyn Berry posted the disgusting tweet less than 12 hours after Nashville resident Audrey Hale, 28, who used the he/she pronouns, killed three children and three adults in a mass shooting at Covenant School on Monday.
Earlier in the day he had posted: “If you work in the progressive community and you are transphobic, you are not progressive.”
It’s unclear what he was referring to or if he had anything to do with the shooting that occurred the same day.
The Arizona Freedom Caucus wrote in response: “Less than 12 hours after the tragic shooting in Nashville by a deranged transgender activist, Katie Hobbs’ press secretary calls for shooting people Democrats don’t stand with. OK.
Calling out violence like this is un-American and never acceptable. Josselyn Berry should be fired immediately.
The Caucus is led by Republican Senator Jake Hoffman and often takes issue with Hobbs’s policies,
As of Tuesday night, the tweet was still available on Berry’s account, but she had made her profile private, meaning only those who already followed her could see it.
Hobbs has been a strong supporter of LGBTQ rights since she became the governor of Arizona in November. She has yet to respond to the controversy.
But on Monday, he wrote of the shooting: “My family and I send all our love to the families affected by the tragic news from Nashville.
“I know that parents across the country are holding their children a little tighter tonight.”
Nashville is still reeling from the shooting that killed three nine-year-old boys.
Hale opened fire on The Covenant School, a small church-run private elementary school, at around 10:13 a.m. Monday morning.

Hobbs has not commented on Berry’s tweet, but did refer to the shooting in Nashville.
She was armed with two rifles and a pistol and reportedly planned the murder meticulously.
It is understood that he had several writings and maps of the school, as well as drawings of how to enter.
She shot and killed principal Katherine Koonce in the hallway in a ‘murder’ style killing, as well as shooting church custodian Mike Hill and substitute teacher Cynthia Peak.
Hale also murdered three nine-year-old students; Hallie Scruggs, William Kinney, and Evelyn Dieckhaus.
At 10:27 am, Officers Rex Englebert and Michael Collazo struck her and killed her.
Footage shows officers strategically checking classrooms for the shooter before finding her in a second-floor atrium, firing in her direction as part of her police suicide plot.

On Tuesday, Dailymail.com exclusively revealed that Hale was at odds with her devout Christian parents because they “couldn’t accept” her being gay and transgender.

Church coordinator Norma, 61, and her husband Ronald, 64, refused to allow Hale to dress as a man in their home.
Instead, she would wait until leaving her $700,000 Nashville estate to change her clothes, according to a well-placed source.
‘You only see what you want to see. Their religion does not allow them to accept homosexuality,” the source told DailyMail.com.
‘She was Audrey at home, but when she left the house she changed her clothes. They knew it, they just didn’t accept it.
Neighbors on the tree-lined suburban street where the family lived for three decades said they had no idea of Hale’s apparent transition and remembered her as a “skateboarder, tomboy.”
“She introduced herself about a year and a half ago as Audrey,” said one.
I treated her like a woman and she didn’t correct me. She seemed artistic, easy-going, and well-mannered.

Nashville was still reeling from this week’s tragedy after three children and three adults were shot to death Monday.
Police now say Hale planned to carry out more attacks, including against his own family.
We have spoken with the father and mother. We searched the house and found two more guns there and some more maps, related to thinking about some other incidents.
“We strongly believe that there would be other targets, including family members, and one of the malls here in Nashville and it just didn’t happen,” Chief John Drake told CBS this morning.
