The hosts of Channel Seven’s breakfast show Sunrise discovered their celebrity lookalikes by participating in a viral TikTok trend.

The likes of Edwina Bartholomew and Natalie Barr uploaded their photos to the app, spawning the A-listers they look the most like.

The presenters tested the limits of artificial intelligence technology when newsreader Edwina was transformed into Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson.

The show noted similarities in the shape of the two women’s faces and mouths.

Sunrise is no stranger to doppelgängers with co-host David ‘Kochie’ Koch meeting his own in 2020.

He was struck by the striking similarities he shared with Victorian businessman Paul Capkin.

Capkin said he was often mistaken for Kochie’s long-lost brother, joking: “My business is called Posh Wash, so I have [called] Kochie Washy.

“A couple of times, people have said to me: ‘Kochie, how come you’re wearing a St Kilda scarf?'” he added, referring to Kochie’s famous loyalty to Port Adelaide.

The Sunrise panel laughed and agreed: ‘That’s a giveaway!’
