Odell Beckham Jr. Had ‘Long Talk’ With New York Jets At NFL Owners Meetings As Brian Daboll Reveals He Texted Former Giants WR ‘Once Or Twice’
Odell Beckham Jr. was a surprise guest at the Biltmore in Phoenix, AZ. at the NFL Owners Meetings on Tuesday, where he had an “extended talk” with Jets bosses.
Beckham was photographed embracing Gang Green coach Robert Saleh by Boston Globe reporter Ben Volin, who posted the photo on Twitter Tuesday afternoon.
According The New York Daily NewsBeckham spoke with Saleh and Jets general manager Joe Douglas.
The report also indicated that Beckham spoke briefly with Giants head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen on Tuesday.
Daboll was also asked about the free-agent wide receiver, revealing that the pair had texted “once or twice” this offseason.

Odell Beckham Jr. apparently has his eyes set on returning to New York following his recovery.
The current NFL Coach of the Year did not elaborate on the content of those conversations: “Those conversations are private,” he told reporters.
“He’s a good young man,” Daboll said. “I think that whatever decision we make, we will make it together. Joe and I will sit down and talk about it, and it has to make sense to everyone.
Beckham recently told the Giants running back to tell Schoen to contact his agent via Twitter, prompting a homecoming for Big Blue.
Josina Anderson of CBS Sports he cited Beckham as his source to report that he was going to have “talks” with Baltimore while at the Biltmore.
He later he told her; “Love was there, a good matchup…(Lots of) people and teams I ran into.”
The former All-Pro catcher also met with Rams general manager Les Snead and former coach, Cleveland’s Kevin Stefanski, and Washington coach Ron Rivera.
Seemingly imminent Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers congratulated Beckham while on the Pat McAfee Show, following his revelation that he wanted to play for the AFC East franchise.

Initially believed Beckham tore his ACL in Super Bowl LVI, he later clarified on Twitter that he touched ‘the entire back of the [2021] season without ACL.’ Regardless, he hasn’t played a down since.
During that season, he had 825 yards in 18 games (including four postseason contests) with seven touchdowns.
A three-time Pro Bowl selection, the Louisiana native has 531 receptions for 7,367 yards and 56 touchdowns in 96 career games with the Giants (2014-18), Browns (2019-21) and Rams.
