This is not the first time they have fought together. They were previously linked in 2019 ahead of AJ’s world heavyweight title rematch with Andy Ruiz Jr and Chisora’s clash with David Price.
Speaking exclusively to Sportsmail about his training session with AJ earlier this month, Chisora said: ‘When I come to train, I bring pain and I bring war.
‘I like to push him because he is my brother. I can’t get in the ring with him and play with him because it doesn’t benefit him. If I go in the ring with him, I do it hard and he returns it to me.
Meanwhile, Joshua said the 15-minute training session with Chisora improved his ‘conditioning’ and ‘tested’ him ahead of his fight with Franklin.
The 33-year-old said: ‘The 15-minute sparring sessions can be like, jab and move. But with Chisora, the performance is much higher.
‘It was really good. It really helped condition me. It really tested me. I wouldn’t say I enjoyed it because it was hard, but in a way, it was what I wanted, so I enjoyed it. Is rare. I wanted this and I’m getting it, but it’s hard.’
Joshua looks to make a statement in the ‘Lions Den’ on Saturday and record his first professional win since December 2020 when he defeated Kubrat Pulev via technical knockout.
However, there is enormous pressure on AJ heading into the fight, with many calling for him to hang up his gloves if Franklin hits him.
Chisora said there was no denying Joshua is under pressure heading into the fight, but insisted it would be “good” for the British fighter in the long run.
He told Sportsmail: ‘There is pressure. I’m not going to lie to you, there is a lot of pressure. He is fighting a guy who comes from the United States and has tried the UK.

Chisora says there is “a lot of pressure” on Joshua but insists it will be good for the British star.
‘Now he’s thinking, I like this and I could do something with it. He now he is fighting AJ. It will be a tough fight, but I think it will be good for him.”
Chisora also said that the location of the fight will play into Joshua’s favor and insisted that he would be front row to support the 33-year-old.
Del Boy said, ‘That’s [O2] where it started. That was where he became world champion. So it’s time for me to come home. I’ll be there in the fight supporting him.’
Chisora ended up giving his sermons for the fight. He said: ‘It’s going to be a good fight. The first four rounds are going to be a bit cautious, but after that it’s going to be good.’
