Sky Sports have announced their commentary teams for this summer’s Ashes series, which will include former England captains Eoin Morgan, Kevin Pietersen and Australia legends Mark Taylor and Ricky Ponting.
The broadcaster unveiled its 21-member squad on Tuesday, with some heavy hitters and some familiar faces rounding out the lineups.
For men’s coverage, Mel Jones, Kumar Sangakkara and Dinesh Karthik will join Sky regulars with the likes of Ian Ward, Mike Atherton, Mark Butcher and Sportsmail’s own Nasser Hussain all providing analysis for the series.

England legend Pietersen will meet old foe Ponting, with the duo facing off over the years in some of the most memorable Ashes series, but this time they’ll be on the same side.

Taylor will also join his compatriot and fellow former captain on Sky’s commentary box, having worked in a similar role for Channel Nine’s cricket coverage on Australian television.
Meanwhile, for the Women’s Ashes, former England players Lydia Greenway, Isa Guha and Charlotte Edwards join Nick Knight, Jones and Mark Butcher for all coverage, which begins June 22.
