A tradie is left dumbfounded after reeling in a monstrous bull shark while fishing on an artificial lake in a tinny fish.
Jake Posa, 27, hooked the 2.8m bull shark at around 5pm on Saturday at Lake Orr off Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
Mr. Posa managed to get back to shore and reel in the shark with the help of his friend Brendan and four other men who were at the lake.
The massive battle between the fishermen and the shark lasted more than two hours.
“Being dragged by such a big monster. It was just scary, of course the same size as the boat,” Posa told Nine News.

“Fortunately they (the fishermen) were there, for they gave us a hand to pull her up and take the hook out and do all that.”
Mr Posa told the Gold Coast Bulletin that the shark initially “dragged my eyes around like it was nothing” and that the boat “went faster than the engine ever could.”
“We managed to get him to the bay and put a rope around his tail and pulled him up the bank,” he said.
He estimated the shark weighed at least 250 kg.
Mr Posa said he was well aware there were sharks of that size in Lake Orr as he regularly fished in the area and had caught a few in the past.

He filmed the bull shark’s capture and uploaded the video to social media.
The fisherman shared a photo on a Facebook community group with the caption, “No swimming in Lake Orr.”
He explained that he wanted to post the photo and footage to warn residents who regularly swim in the lake.
The bull shark was later released back into the lake by the men.
Lake Orr was built along with Lake Azzura when the Varsity Lakes suburb was begun as a residential development in 1999.
