Larry Emdur pays tribute to his beloved mother Faye as she celebrates milestone birthday

Larry Emdur has paid a moving tribute to his mother Faye to mark her 80th birthday on Tuesday.

The Channel 7 star, 58, shared a gallery of gorgeous photos on Instagram showing him posing up a storm with his mum and captioned it with some heartfelt words.

‘I promised I wouldn’t say my mother’s 80th birthday today. She is and she has always been sunshine, love, warmth, happiness and our Commander in Chief,” she wrote.

Her chicken soup can heal anything from acne to a broken heart, her hugs can warm the coldest day, and her smile is omnipresent and omni-fabulous.

“I love you mom and so does almost everyone who has known you, happy birthday, thank you for being the best mother since mothers were invented.”

Many of Larry’s celebrity friends were quick to comment to congratulate Faye on reaching the milestone.

“I hope Larry spoils you and surprises you with that Lamborghini he’s been talking about for so long,” said Chezzi, Grant Denyer’s wife.

“Happy birthday Faye, always love our front fence chats,” wrote Channel 10 presenter Barry Du Bois.

Many of Larry’s famous friends were quick to comment to congratulate Faye on reaching the historic event.

Meanwhile, The Bachelor’s Anna Heinrich kept it short and sweet with, “Happy Birthday Faye xx.”

It’s not the first time Larry has shown his tender side.

In December, he paid tribute to his wife Sylvie on her 28th anniversary.

He wrote a beautiful tribute to her on Instagram, prompting some fans to joke that he was “punching above his weight.”

The couple married in 1995 and share two adult children, Jye, 28, and Tia, 23.
