Married At First Sight star Lyndall Grace has responded to Cameron Woods’ votes that never made it to air.

Moments later, Lyndall spoke with WSFM’s Jonesy & Amanda and heard the interior carpenter’s votes for the first time.

She rejected his claims that she was to blame for their lack of communication as a couple.

“I mean, my experience of conflict was continually me trying to raise issues and talk about them,” he told radio hosts Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones and Amanda Keller.

“And his immediate response was to close the conversation and just leave the room.”

The Perth accountant continued: ‘I knew the communication was unhealthy and I knew we had a big problem resolving that conflict. But I needed someone who was willing to sit down with me and weather the storm on those tough conversations, not just walk away and then never bring them up again.’

Elsewhere, Lyndall revealed to 9Entertainment the real reason she wouldn’t let Cameron take her final vows.

“If my only crime in the experiment was not letting Cam say her vows, I’m totally okay with that,” he said.

“I gave him every opportunity to say something different or to show me in a meaningful way and I don’t think his votes would have changed my mind at all.”

“For most of my life, being married, having a partner and planning for the future were pipe dreams that I blamed myself for,” she added, referring to her fight with cystic fibrosis and how it affected her self-esteem.

“I thought because I have cystic fibrosis, I could never be someone’s forever person.”

Lyndall went on to describe their initial connection, reminiscing about their wedding day and how Cam had made her feel comfortable.

“In our first few weeks together, you could barely take the smallest criticisms and would constantly abandon difficult conversations, leaving me to pick up the pieces,” he said.
