Daniel Ricciardo parties hard with The Chainsmokers in Las Vegas just before Australian Grand Prix

Australian F1 star Daniel Ricciardo was spotted partying in Las Vegas alongside superstar dance music duo The Chainsmokers just days before the Australian GP, ​​and fans are delighted to see him finally enjoying himself after enduring a horror race with McLaren.

Ricciardo, 33, will watch from the bench this year after the British team dumped him for upstart Oscar Piastri following a poor 2022 campaign that led many to question his future in the sport.

The fan favorite has since rejoined Red Bull, where he won seven grands prix, as its third driver, meaning his main responsibilities will include testing, business activity and simulator work.

After a dismal couple of years at McLaren, where the Australian admitted he entered a cycle of negativity, Ricciardo seems to love life now that there is much less pressure on him.

The ‘Honey Badger’ showed how relaxed he is recently when he was seen at Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas partying with the Chainsmokers.

The Perth-born star remains one of the most popular F1 drivers on the planet and fans were delighted to see him smile.

Ricciardo recently spoke about his 2023 ambitions in a LinkedIn post.

“This is the first year since I can remember that my goals are not going to be 100% related to racing and competition,” he wrote.

I am back in an environment and ultimately in a family that I have many fond memories with, and it feels great to be back there.

“But it’s not about me this year, it’s about the team as a whole and trying to contribute and help them where I can.”

‘Jumping into the sim, learning his car and helping shape development are all things I’m focused on.

The 33-year-old has also long expressed a desire to spend more time in the US after becoming very fond of the country in recent years.

“When I finally stop running and have some time, I want to take a road trip across America,” he told Beyond The Grid podcast host Tom Clarkson.

‘I also think, what 110 [100cc motorbike] crossing the United States would symbolize that you are slowing down and assimilating everything.

“We’re always thinking about getting somewhere as fast as possible, getting the job done, getting out there, and it’s like, no, I want to take it all in and just be.”

Ricciardo has confirmed that he will make an appearance at his home grand prix from this week, but mainly for a meet and greet on the track.
