Boris Becker and his girlfriend enjoy three-course meal at expensive restaurant
A world away from the prison meals Boris Becker would have eaten in a British prison, the disgraced tennis star was able to enjoy a lavish night with his girlfriend at an expensive Italian restaurant in Germany.
Becker got a taste of what he had been missing during his time in an Oxfordshire prison, enjoying a three-course meal with Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro, 32, at the Nannina restaurant in Stuttgart, Germany, on Friday evening.
Becker, 55, was tempted by a choice of home-made fettuccine with aged Parmesan and black truffle, as well as ravioli filled with burrata – a far cry from the humble fare he would have eaten at HMP Huntercombe, a Category C prison in Oxfordshire.
He treated Lilian to a date night at the Italian restaurant, where the Wimbledon champion visits so often that he has booked a table there every night, reports Image.
The couple arrived at the luxury restaurant around 8.30pm and ordered a starter, main and dessert from the set menu, where mains can cost between 39 (£34) and 59 euros (£52).

A menu from that evening shows that the couple was given a choice of three pasta dishes for one of their courses. Dishes include homemade tagliolini with cime di rapa – a type of broccoli – and almonds; homemade fettuccine with 36 months parmesan and black truffle; and ravioli stuffed with ricotta and burrata alongside scampi au gratin

The couple also shared a bottle of white wine before enjoying espressos before Lillian paid for the meal with her credit card. It is not known how much the bill was, but a meal for two in the exclusive restaurant costs around 300 euros.
At one point during the meal, Lilian, who was wearing a gold Rolex watch on her arm, seemed distracted and was seen scrolling her phone as she sat at the table.
Becker, dressed in a bright red sweater over a white shirt next to an expensive watch, sat with his back to the other patrons in the restaurant. The customers said the couple spoke in English.
Lilian was stuck with Becker after being jailed for two and a half years for hiding £2.5 million in assets to avoid paying his debts in April 2022.
The first part of his sentence was served at HMP Wandsworth, which he described as a ‘shithole’ and where he feared for his life. He was then transferred to Huntercombe Prison in Nuffield, Oxfordshire, where he was surrounded by ‘murderers, drug dealers and people smugglers’.
But the disgraced tennis star was released last December after just eight months – and he’s now unsuccessfully trying to get back to his old life of luxury.
In addition to his visits to the luxury restaurant in Stuttgart, Becker appeared on the red carpet of a Berlin film festival, where he was enthusiastically applauded and answered questions about a new documentary about his life – a project that is sure to earn him some extra cash.

In the ‘Boom! Tree! In the documentary World vs. Boris Becker told Becker about his time in prison, his affair with a Russian model that ruined his marriage, and his rapid growth into a global tennis star as a teenager.
The documentary’s trailer was released today and features tennis legends such as John McEnroe, Bjorn Borg and Novak Djokovic – who worked with Becker as a coach – reflecting on his legacy.
But it is Becker, in his own words, who provides by far the most insight, especially when reflecting on his more controversial moments in his life.
During his time in prison, Becker becomes tearful and suffocates as he admits, “I’ve hit rock bottom.” But that’s not the end yet, there’s another chapter to come.’
He also talks about discovering his love child after having an affair with Russian model Angela Ermakova in 1999.
The affair cost him his marriage to his then-wife, Barbara.
Becker has previously said he put the one-night stand with Ermakova out of his mind until she later contacted him to say she was eight months pregnant.
He picks up on the story from the documentary and explains: ‘She came in, she had a big coat on. She took off the coat and she was heavily pregnant. You just can’t believe it. The wake-up call came very late.’
