Stolen French Bulldog reunited with Perth owners after being stolen and held in St James house

Heartwarming moment French bulldog puppy returned safe and sound after burglary theft

A 12-week-old puppy has had an emotional reunion with his owners after being stolen in a home burglary.

French bulldog Rogue was home alone at around 3.30pm on Tuesday when a person in a stolen vehicle broke into his home in Buston Place in Redcliffe, in the eastern suburbs of Perth.

The person rummaged through rooms before stealing jewelry and making off with Rogue.

Information provided to police led them around 6:10 p.m. Wednesday to an address in the southern suburb of St. James where they reportedly found the dog in the backyard and returned it to its owners.

A 20-year-old Wanneroo woman has been charged with receiving and has been released on bail to appear before Perth Magistrates Court on April 17.

WA police said their investigation is ongoing and expect further charges to follow.
