Amanda Bynes wandered the streets of LA for DAYS
Amanda Bynes may have lived on the streets for “several days” leading up to her naked walk through Los Angeles and eventually being admitted to psychiatric care.
TMZ reports that the 36-year-old’s car was towed on March 15 in Long Beach, about 40 miles from her home and 25 miles from where she was seen in downtown LA
Long Beach sources revealed to the outlet that Bynes hitchhiked or took public transportation to get around before she was seen on March 18 as if she was “out,” but still dressed.
It has been reported that she was given a ride to Beverly Hills by a stranger, but was then asked to return to Hollywood, according to the outlet.
The ‘She’s The Man’ star was first taken to hospital early Sunday morning and is said to be ‘making improvements’ but will likely be committed for at least another week before being discharged.

It’s been a year since Bynes’ conservatory was terminated with sources telling TMZ that her parents “have no plans to bring conservatory back.”
Bynes was spotted on a night out in Hollywood on St. Patrick’s Day last Friday — less than two days before she was placed in a mental institution.
The troubled actress, 36, was hospitalized after being spotted walking near downtown Los Angeles early Sunday morning with no clothes on – she was later placed in a 5150 psychiatric hold.
DailyMail.com exclusively revealed a video showing Bynes in a black t-shirt with a bone design, paired with sweatpants and sneakers as she walked the Hollywood Walk of Fame with a friend on Friday, March 17.
The actress seemed coherent as she chatted with her boyfriend on a night out.
The footage was shot less than two days before she was to be found naked and alone in the midst of a “psychotic episode” and hours before she canceled a scheduled public appearance on Saturday.
The star was also filmed and uploaded to a fan’s TikTok, captioning the video, “Luckily she’s getting the help she needs. She was sweet, gave her some money and talked. Sometimes ppl [sic] just have to talk.’
In the clip, you could hear the fan saying, “I saw her walking and had to say what’s up?” as Amanda is heard saying, “What’s up.”
Bynes’ former fiancé, Paul Michael, claims she was “off her meds” before being put in psychiatric prison.
Paul, who has been in an on-again, off-again relationship with Amanda since they broke off their engagement last July before getting back together a month later, told Page six: “She’s off her meds, and she’s still off her meds… She’s wild.”

Paul added that he and Amanda are now “friends” – after it was reported that they were living together in LA
Amanda previously accused Paul on her Instagram of not “taking his meds,” relapsing with “crack cocaine,” and watching “mother-and-son porn” before “kicking him out of her house.”
He added, “(Amanda) tried to kick me out, but I left to find my own place. I moved home and set boundaries.”
Paul also insisted that Amanda “lied” about her past drug and pornography allegations against him, claiming she had “embarrassed” him to “take the focus off her.”
He said, “She acted to shame me out,” adding that Amanda was “lying and cheating and having too many affairs the whole time” they were together.
Bynes and Michael famously got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2020, just months after staying in the same austere abode.
On Sunday, Bynes allegedly swung down a car and told the driver she was “coming after a psychotic episode” before calling 911.
Bynes was taken to a police station where a mental health team placed her in a 5150 psychiatric hold.
A 5150 is a legal action of the CA Welfare and Institutions Code. It allows a qualified officer or clinician to detain someone against their will for 72 hours, which can be extended. During this time, the person is fully assessed on their mental health status.
Bynes was also filmed and uploaded to TikTok by a fan with the caption, “Glad she’s getting the help she needs. She was sweet, gave her some money and talked. Sometimes ppl [sic] just have to talk’
Bynes is currently in hospital and will likely receive care for several days. She was not injured in the incident.
DailyMail.com reached out to Bynes’ representative for comment.
This comes after the actress pulled out of reuniting with the rest of the All That cast at ’90s Con on Saturday, citing an “unknown illness,” according to That’s 4 Entertainment.
At the last minute, the actress, who previously expressed her eagerness to reconnect with her former Nickelodeon castmates at the event, had to cancel.
Her presence at the much-anticipated reunion, along with Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, Danny Tamberelli and Lori Beth Denberg, would have been her first public appearance since the end of her nine-year conservatorship in March 2022.
She has yet to publicly address the health issues that prevented her from going, but just two months ago, she told People that she was “really excited to reunite with” her “castmates and meet the fans” 23 years after the original show ended.
The artist starred in the sketch comedy show from 1996 to 2000 alongside Mitchell, 44, Tamberelli, 40, and Denberg, 46.
Created by Brian Robbins and Mike Tollin, All That originally aired on Nickelodeon from April 16, 1994 to October 22, 2005, and ran for ten seasons.
Billed as “SNL for kids,” the series featured short comedy skits and musical guests.
In 2019, a revival of the series was confirmed with original cast member Kenan Thompson as executive producer and Mitchell rejoining the cast, with the 11th season airing in June of that year.

The final episode of the series aired on December 17, 2020, after production was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It launched Bynes into her 1990s rom-com era, before the embattled star retired from acting.
That’s what sources close to the star have told TMZ that she and Michael are only dating after calling off their summer engagement.
Rumors of their latest reunion first emerged earlier in October 2022 when the Nickelodeon star shared a mysterious image of herself holding hands with Paul Michael – who could be recognized by his signature tattoos – on her Instagram Story.
The cozy photo came nearly two months after news broke that the couple had ended their two-year engagement.
The subtle hint of Amanda’s photo was Paul’s tattooed grip holding her heavily manicured hand.
Neither appeared to be wearing any rings on their hands following the July 8 news that they had ended their engagement “sometime in 2021.”
“They’re still together as a couple,” an insider stressed to ET at the time of their alleged breakup. “They are still in a committed relationship and take their relationship seriously.”
On April 28, the Easy A alum called 911 for the health worker during a dispute over his relapse. She accused him of trashing his mom’s house, watching MILF porn, and going off his meds.
Aside from Amanda’s busy love life, the star has also reportedly developed a “fragrance line” while pursuing another degree at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising after completing her associate’s degree there in 2019.
In March 2022, Bynes was released from her nine-year statutory conservatory under the supervision of her mother Lynn.
Amanda’s conservatory began in 2013 when she was involuntarily committed to a Pasadena mental institution following a public breakdown that included a series of bizarre run-ins with the law dating back to 2012. She is pictured here in her heyday in 2004
Amanda’s conservatory began in 2013 when she was involuntarily committed to a Pasadena mental institution after a public crisis involving a series of bizarre run-ins with the law dating back to 2012.
Bynes’ offenses included two hit-and-runs and a DUI in 2012, as well as an arrest in 2013 for throwing a hookah from a 36th-floor window of her Manhattan apartment.
Bynes’ parents Lynn and Rick reportedly have no intention of putting her back into guardianship, despite her alleged mental health issues.
However, her family would have taken note of the fact that she realized she was unwell and sought treatment herself, TMZ reports.
