Rachael Finch provides an update after her house was broken into while her children were asleep

Rachael Finch has given fans an update after her home was raided Tuesday morning while her two young children were sleeping in their beds.

The 34-year-old former Miss Universe revealed that police are fingerprinting everything in her home after intruders broke into the property in the middle of the night.

‘So the police are at our house now taking fingerprints everywhere. What a day it’s been,’ she said on Instagram.

‘Fortunately the children are fine, fortunately we are fine. We were not woken up by people forcing their way into the house, we were woken up just before 3am when the police knocked on the front door and told us, “Your house has been broken into.”

Rachael explained that the first thing she did was run to her eight-year-old daughter Violet and five-year-old son Dominic’s bedroom to make sure they were safe.

‘My heart was beating. The police officer said that they raided all the houses, including some apartments on our street. So everyone was on the street, police everywhere, lights flashing.

“You feel so violated when someone is standing in your room, with your children asleep in their beds, thinking they are safe. It is the most petrifying sensation.

Earlier that day, Rachael recalled the terrifying experience on Instagram, daring trespassers to come back so they could hear her “thoughts” on the matter.

Sharing a selfie of herself looking worn out in bed after a long night, the model said: “To the people who broke into our house last night while our children were sleeping in their beds thinking they were safe… please come another time”.

‘You left without knowing our thoughts or feelings.’

The robbery comes just days after he lashed out at a troll who said he was “abusing” his children by “underfeeding” them.

Rachael is passionate about health and rarely allows her children to eat sugary or processed foods.

One of his followers on social media cruelly commented on the way he feeds Violet and Dominic and claimed that it will lead to eating disorders when they are older.

“Hi Rachael, I have been following you for years, I have purchased most of your kissed earth products, however I must say that what you feed your children is a form of child abuse,” they wrote.

They are malnourished and extremely underweight. Please feed them more. You are denying them a childhood. I have no doubt that Violet will develop some kind of eating disorder from whatever you feed her.

Rachael, who shares her two children with her husband, dancer Michael Miziner, took a screenshot of the comment and posted it to her Instagram page to shame the troll.

Earlier in the day, the former Miss Universe recalled the terrifying experience on Instagram, daring trespassers to come back so she could hear their ‘thoughts’ about it.

She was furious at the accusation and called the comments dangerous, saying: ‘Child abuse. Eating disorder. underfed How would you respond? Would you answer?

“I feel lucky that I have the emotional support at home to help me deal with these kinds of comments, but for those who don’t, this could be dangerous.

“Even though this person has no idea about our son’s well-being, apart from some food posts I make from time to time, he plays with his thoughts and feelings.”

He ended the tirade by saying that the troll did not have to agree with the way he raises his children, but that his “harmful comments” should be saved.
