‘I was causing trouble’: Gino D’Acampo LEAVES ITV’s Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip after three series in a row for ‘complicated’ contracts
Gino D’Acampo has revealed that he has left his popular ITV show Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip after three seasons.
The 46-year-old chef revealed in a lengthy Instagram post on Sunday that he left due to a dispute over contacts.
The show saw the Italian TV favorite travel the world with fellow foodies Gordon Ramsay and Fred Sirieix as they explored the local cuisine.
Gino said his friendship with his departure has nothing to do with his ex, whose “strong friendships” mean more to him than contract discussions.
Telling his followers: ‘Last week I decided not to film any more Gordon, Gino and Fred road trips. The reason is very simple: nothing to do with Gordon or Fred, the friendship is very strong.’

He continued, “It’s just because we can’t get the dates together and sometimes when we do get the dates together, sometimes they get swapped and it causes me a lot of trouble because I have other things to do.”
“Personal problems also because when I have to change things with my family it is very complicated and also due to contracts.”
“Because contracts start to get very complicated and very stressful, I personally value the friendship with Gordon and Fred so much that I prefer friendship to contract discussions.”
“So I’ve decided not to do it anymore because I want to be friends with the boys for many, many years.”
