Former Little Mix singer Jesy, 31, was criticized multiple times during the Channel 4 charity show for a series of mistakes while trying to bake.
While fans couldn’t contain their excitement to see Friends actor David, 56, win the coveted Hollywood handshake from judge Paul Hollywood.
Viewers were quick to take to Twitter while watching celebs in the famous tent to call out Jesy for mispronouncing the macaron.
One said: ‘Ha… silly woman from Essex… Saying macaroni… how ridiculous.’

Even the official Bake Off social media account shared a post to ‘clarify’ the difference between macaron and macaron.
As she baked and stretched out her dough, Jesy said, ‘How do I know what it should look like?’
Prue Leith said that “you don’t seem to know what you’re doing”.
The singer quickly responded: ‘This is my technique. It’s horrible that you help me. I was really looking forward to the handshake, but it’s not going to happen, is it?
Later in the show, while setting up her show, Jesy admitted that she had no idea how to separate eggs while trying to make a meringue.
During the benefit show, David walked away with the Star Baker award and fans raved about what a “legend” he is.

David spoke about how cancer has affected his family and is “grateful” to be able to help in a small way to raise money.
He said: ‘I’m here to have fun and raise money for a great charity. I lost a grandmother to cancer, my daughter lost her grandmother to cancer, my sister is a cancer survivor so it’s important to me.
“I’m grateful to be able to help out in a small way to help raise awareness.”
