Manchester United has been tied against Sevilla in the quarterfinals of the Europa League.
The Red Devils will face their third consecutive Spanish team after previously defeating Barcelona and Real Betis.
No team has won the competition more than Sevilla, with six wins, four of which in the last decade. However, United will enjoy their chances against a team that sits 13th in the LaLiga standings.
Erik ten Hag’s side are on the tougher side of the draw, as if they advance against perennial Europa League winners, they will then face either Juventus or Sporting Lisbon in the semi-finals.
The Red Devils and Juventus have Champions League history, but after their struggles in recent seasons, it could turn into a mammoth clash in the semi-finals.

Sevilla have won the competition four times in the last decade but have suffered a slump since they last won the trophy in 2020, currently sitting 13th in the LaLiga standings.
However, Juventus will not have an easy time against Sporting Lisbon, who eliminated Arsenal in the round of 16 after a penalty win at the Emirates.
The other quarterfinal duels drawn were Bayer Leverkusen-Union SG and Feyenoord-AS Roma.
United could face former manager José Mourinho if they and his Roma advance to the final.
Mourinho guided the Italian team to Europa Conference League success last season, and he hopes to do better this season in the Europa League.
The Portuguese manager led United to their last Europa League win in 2017, but was sacked the following year.
However, they face a tricky clash with Eredivisie table top Feyenoord who could win for the first time since 2017.
