Halle Berry marked her daughter Nahla’s 15th birthday by sharing rare snaps of the teen on her Instagram account Thursday.
The 56-year-old actress shared a couple of photos showing the firstborn relaxing in various places, also including a photo of herself enjoying her daughter’s company.
The Oscar-winning actress, who recently attended the Academy Awards ceremony, also wrote a short message in the caption of her post to express her feelings about her son’s special day.
Berry began by describing Nahla as “one of the greatest gifts the universe has given me.”
The star of the X-Men franchise went on to express that his daughter has been a positive influence in his life.

Berry shares Nahla with her former partner, Gabriel Aubry, whom she began dating in 2005.
The former couple welcomed their daughter into their life in 2008, though they split two years later.
The actress began a relationship with Olivier Martinez and they married in 2013.
The couple brought a nine-year-old son named Maceo-Robert into their life that same year, although they ultimately separated in 2015.
Berry opened up about co-parenting during an interview with women’s healthwhere he expressed that it was occasionally difficult for him to share parenting with the fathers of his children.
She said: ‘I have two different dads, and I see [my kids] Half of the time. That’s a lot to handle. So sometimes I have to go talk to people to help me figure out, “How do I make the best decisions for my kids?”

The actress commented: ‘I feel guilty a lot. You think, gosh, I should have done better.
Berry concluded by stating that she had taken on self-care routines in an effort to become a better mother.
“I remember that we always have to take care of ourselves first, because I can’t be a good mother to my children if I’m not fundamentally happy and feeling good about myself,” she said.
