Sir Alex Ferguson’s horse Hermes Allen is beaten handily in the first race of the second day of the Cheltenham Festival… with Impaire Et Passe running to win the Ballymore Hurdle.

Impaire Et Passe lived up to pre-race expectations by winning the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle from Gaelic Warrior and Champ Kiely.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s horse Hermes Allen was in close contention before retiring after the last hurdle.
