Biden confuses story about Oregon in speech to wealthy donors
Joe Biden is confused AGAIN as he messes up the story about which part of Oregon voted secession in front of wealthy donors who just gave $1 million
- Biden made a verbal gaffe at a nice fundraiser
- He twisted a story about Oregon in front of 65 wealthy donors
- They had just given $1 million to the Democratic Party
President Joe Biden was confused and confused again Tuesday night when he spoke to a group of wealthy Democratic donors and botched a story about Oregon.
The 80-year-old Biden noted that while on the flight to Las Vegas he was watching television in Air Force One when he saw a report about a portion of Oregon seceding from Idaho.
But he confused the part of the state where it takes place.
“I arrived here on Air Force One. I’m watching and you’re letting Western Oregon decide that they’re going to secede and become part of Idaho,” he said.
“What the hell is going on?”
“Idaho is a beautiful state, but no, I mean it. They moved really fast. They’ve passed resolutions in the state to do that,” he said as his audience laughed.

The news story played on CNN as Biden traveled from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, the final stop on his three-day tour of the West Coast.
But it’s actually Eastern Oregon that voted to separate.
Biden’s mistake came in a posh private home in one of Las Vegas’ most private and affluent neighborhoods.
The president spoke to about 65 attendees at a fundraiser that raised more than $1 million for the Democratic National Committee and the Democratic Grassroots Victory Fund.
The fundraiser was closed to cameras, but journalists were allowed inside to take notes.
It is not the first time Biden, who stuttered as a child, has made a verbal blunder. He often called his vice president Kamala Harris the president. In September, he called out Representative Jackie Walorski at an event when she was killed in a car accident last month.
Some Democrats have privately expressed concerns about Biden’s health. He would live to be 82 if he runs for office and wins a second term in the White House.
Last month he had his annual physical exam where his doctor declared him healthy and fit to be president.
Biden on Tuesday referred to a move by the Idaho House of Representatives to pass a nonbinding resolution calling for formal talks between the Idaho and Oregon legislatures to veto the relocation of some rural counties from Oregon to Idaho. discuss.

The bill is also in the Oregon state legislature.
The proposal comes from the Greater Idaho Movement, which aims to include about 13 counties, or 63% of Oregon’s landmass, within Idaho’s borders.
Of the thirteen counties in the proposal, eleven of them have so far voted to continue discussions on the prospect, and proponents are optimistic they will continue to gain traction.
Supporters of the proposal think eastern Oregon is politically and culturally more aligned with Idaho than Oregon’s larger progressive cities in the western part of the state.
“People in Eastern Oregon feel that their state-level administration has not heard them, has not paid attention to our concerns, and has not worked for Eastern Oregon,” said Matt McCaw, spokesman for the Greater Idaho Movement, last month. Fox News.
Such a move would require the Idaho Legislature, Oregon Legislature and Congress to all sign it.
It would also likely require multiple amendments to the Idaho and Oregon Constitutions.
