Abbey Gelmi and Kane Lambert have welcomed their first child.
The 7News sports anchor, 32, shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday, along with a black-and-white photo of her cradling the newborn at the hospital.
“Louis James Lambert came into the world on 8.3.23,” Abbey captioned the image.
‘Our hearts are so full. Everyone happy, healthy and comfortable at home. So thankful @kanelambert,’ she continued.
Abbey’s post was quickly inundated with well wishes from Love Island’s Tayla Damir, The Bachelor’s Anna Heinrich, and model Jesinta Franklin.

Last month, the reality TV star posted on Instagram, posing alongside host Mike Amor holding a bouquet of flowers.

Abbie revealed that she was pregnant in an interview with The herald sun in October.
“While it’s been such a special time, I haven’t been feeling well,” Gelmi told the publication.

In May, Gelmi revealed that she was in the process of building her dream home from scratch and shared the news on her Instagram Stories.

Abbey first sparked rumors that she was dating the recently retired Richmond star, 31, in May 2021.
The couple reportedly attended Sam Mac’s book launch in Melbourne together at the time, reportedly being introduced by Love Island’s Tayla Damir.
The Daily Telegraph reported that the couple started dating after Abbey moved from Melbourne to Sydney.
