Harry Styles ‘sneaked into Australian fashionista Yan Yan Chan’s DMs and invited her to an after party’

More details have emerged about Harry Styles’ close friendship with Australian influencer and fashion blogger Yan Yan Chan.

It was reported earlier this week that the British singer and social media star had enjoyed a secret getaway while Harry visited Australia for his Love On tour in February.

A well-placed source has since told Daily Mail Australia how their relationship began, claiming it was Harry who took the first step through “sliding into Yan Yan’s DMs and inviting her to a private after party” after his show in Sydney on March 4.

Yan Yan was indeed seen sitting in a gold corporate box next to a group of fellow influencers during the concert.

Harry and Yan Yan have been following each other on Instagram since 2020, but have never been photographed together.

Magazine for Women’s Day claimed that Harry and Yan Yan got to know each other last month while the crooner was touring Down Under and even made a “secret escape” together.

Harry was photographed on Feb. 27 jogging around Byron Bay’s famous lighthouse — and the coastal town in NSW just happens to be one of the most visited hot spots of Yan Yan.

‘[Harry] likes to keep good company when away from home’… [Yan Yan] by all accounts, it’s a lot of fun,” a source told the publication.

“Although Harry’s neighbor knows exactly who she is, Yan Yan is the type of person who would never kiss and tell,” the source claimed.

Born in Hong Kong, Yan Yan grew up in Sydney, where she achieved success as a fashion blogger in the early 2000s.

Her last known relationship was with fellow influencer and reality star Nathan Jolliffe, who happens to be the spitting image of Harry.

The former “it” couple dated for five years before separating in July 2022, not long after moving to New York together.

At the time, Nathan shared a photo of the couple on Instagram alongside the word “bittersweet” and a “bye” emoji.

“Although Harry’s neighbor knows exactly who she is, Yan Yan is the type of person who would never kiss and tell,” the source claimed.

Meanwhile, in February, it was reported that Harry was “in the early days of a romance with a mystery woman.”

As it turned out, singer Harry and actress Olivia went their separate ways last November after discovering they had “different priorities that kept them apart.”

Although the pair are rumored to still be ‘good friends’, Harry has put the romance firmly in the past as the One Direction star has reportedly moved on with someone else.

A source told it Mirror: “Harry is dating someone. He does everything he can to keep her identity quiet after the circus surrounding his relationship with Olivia.

“But his closest circles all know about the romance. Although it’s still early, things seem to be going well.’
