Jordan Elsey endured a nightmare home debut as the Perth Glory star received a red card just 57 seconds after leaving for his new club.
Elsey’s hasty tackle on Western Sydney Wanderers star Yeni Ngbakoto, in which she speared the attacker’s back, left the referee no choice but to dismiss the defender on Friday night.
He also etched his name in the record books, showing his red card in the second fastest time in A-League history.
