F1: New Las Vegas Grand Prix are released as excitement continues to build

New renderings of the Las Vegas Grand Prix are released as excitement builds for the most anticipated F1 race in history… with cheaper standing room only tickets selling for $500

The excitement continues to build ahead of the first Las Vegas Grand Prix later this year, and the organizers have now released some all-new renderings of what the race will look like under the lights in Sin City.

The sport will descend on Las Vegas in November for perhaps the most anticipated race in Formula One history, and it won’t come cheap for fans keen to attend.

Another round of ticket sales will take place later in March, and the Las Vegas team got fans pumped up this week by releasing four new renderings of what the speedway will look like when it’s built.

With the race starting at 10pm, the bright lights of Las Vegas will be in full effect, and footage showed bright white spotlights at the end of the pit lane.

The MSG Sphere, which is still being created, will also take center stage, with the track running past the massive globe, which is set to open in September, two months before the race.

A large grandstand will allow fans to watch the cars roll down the frontstretch, although you’ll have to shell out a lot of cash to be there in person.

It was revealed on Thursday that the cheapest available three-day ticket package will cost $500, including access on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but that won’t get you a seat.

Instead, the standing room only ticket comes with unlimited food and non-alcoholic beverages.

For a ticket that includes a seat in the Main Grandstand, you’ll have to shell out $2,500 per person, while the MSG Sphere zone at the other end of the circuit is $2,000 cheaper, but still significant.

At the other end of the spectrum, tickets to the Paddock Club are already sold out, despite being listed at $15,000 per person. However, for the wealthier readers among you, fear not: the private suites are still available, but they are so expensive that you have to request the price.

Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, March 24 and are expected to be in high demand to secure a spot in the season’s race.

By the time Las Vegas weekend rolls around, fans will likely have a good idea of who will be crowned the 2023 drivers’ champion.

In the opening race of the season last weekend, Red Bull completely dominated, with world champion Max Verstappen leading his teammate Sergio Perez to a one-two for the team.

Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso completed the podium in third while Charles Leclerc was in great pain, forced to retire late in his Ferrari.

The Las Vegas race will be a big occasion for Logan Sargeant, the sport’s newest American driver.

He finished a very respectable 12th in his debut race in Bahrain, dropping points but finishing much higher than expected.
