The Xbox Series X is $50 cheaper at Verizon
Verizon, of all places, has knocked $50 off the cost of Microsoft’s Xbox Series X console. While it normally costs $499.99 no matter where you look, you can now get it for $449.99. This isn’t a huge discount, and it may not last long, but any drop in price is appreciated these days. With recent sales on Series S consoles for wireless subscribers, Verizon is making a name for itself as a great place to get an Xbox for cheap.
From late 2020 to mid-2022, the Xbox Series X and PS5 were still very hard to find in stock, leading some people to make a hobby of quickly buying up a stock of consoles and then reselling them at exorbitant prices. Fortunately, those times seem to be behind us, and now we have come to a point where manufacturers are ready to approve such price reductions.
With a $50 savings, you might have money left over for an extra controller, an SSD to store more games, or a few months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
