Best in snow! Crufts hopefuls arrive for the first day of 2023 competition in Birmingham
For the first day of 2023, a large number of absolutely furry dogs have arrived at Birmingham NEC Crufts competition.
Thousands of participants from around the world – and their indulgent owners – gather in the UK’s second city for the start of the four-day gathering.
The pampered puppies seemed ready to show off their skills as they arrived in elaborate ensembles — including leopard print rompers, dinosaur-themed coats and colorful umbrellas.
Another dog made a statement refusing to be spoiled by the bad weather and donned a bright yellow raincoat ahead of the competition, organized by The Kennel Club.
The pets will compete in agility and obedience tests over the next four days, with one dog taking home the prestigious Best In Show on Sunday.
