U2 legends Bono and The Edge returned to the red carpet to celebrate nearly half a century of music in a new documentary about the innovative Irish band.

The couple attended the Los Angeles venue, The Orpheum Theatre, which hosted the US premiere of the upcoming Disney+ documentary special Bono And The Edge: A Sort Of Homecoming.

Not present were the two remaining band members, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen, Jr., despite a number of celebrity guests converging on the venue ahead of the special event.

Lead singer Bono, real name Paul Hewson, and guitarist The Edge, birth name David Howell Evans, were instead joined by American talk show legend David Letterman, who narrates the new special.

Letterman traveled to the band’s native Dublin to interview the couple about their longstanding friendships and their 47-year journey as musicians.
