But the man who goes back and forth between company and buyer has reportedly done his job far too quickly as he was caught speeding the 30mph stretch of the A40 viaduct over the course of 18 days last summer Westway.
Between July 15 and August 1, 2022, Mr. McPherson was picked up by speed cameras a total of 22 times, including four times on the first day alone, at speeds of 55 to 65 km/h.

Lawyers representing Mr McPherson stated that their client already has seven points on his driver’s license and the offenses add him up to 81.
According to Transport For London, the A40 Westway is an important route for many Londoners, normally used by around 96,000 vehicles a day.
A temporary 30 mph restriction was introduced in 2020 due to road works, but it has since been made permanent.

He continued, “I have been driving that stretch of road for many years. I was shocked when all those fines were sent to me at work. There were a whole bunch of them.
“If I lose my job, I don’t know what I’m going to do. I’ve never been in a court before, so I’m very nervous, but I’m going to the court to ask not to be suspended because it will cause me trouble.
“I’ve been with the company all my adult life and have been driving with no problems. They got the fines because it’s a work bus. Everything changed in such a short time for me.’
He has admitted to breaking the speed limit on the A40 Westway, between Terrick Street, White City and Paddington Green.
Patterson Law, specialist car law attorneys outlined the guilty plea at Willesden Magistrates Court in February and that Mr McPherson would present an argument of ‘exceptional hardship’.
They also explained how, with the 81 points in mind, their client is at risk of a “six-month disqualification” for “achieving 12 or more points over a three-year period.”
The case will go to public proceedings on May 17.
