EXC: Amanda Holden’s daughter Lexi, 17, will finish education before embarking on modelling career
Amanda Holden has revealed that she is making sure her ‘A* student’ daughter, Lexi, finishes her education before embarking on her modeling career.
In March 2022, Amanda announced that her eldest daughter has signed with the Storm modeling agency as she follows in her mother’s showbiz footsteps.
Speaking about Lexi’s next steps a year later, Amanda exclusively told MailOnline: ‘Storm has taken over for her. She is 17 years old, but I think that when she is 18 we will start looking for her to be in that field. They are currently working on her Lookbook.’
When asked about her and Lexi’s recent red carpet appearances, the 52-year-old TV personality admitted: “I’m very aware of the things we go to.”
“We went to the Fashion Awards, which was really exciting. So yeah, I want to get her to the right things, the relevant things. She is interested in the fashion side of things.
However, Lexi’s modeling career won’t be ahead of her education, as Amanda said, “Lexi is an A student so I don’t want her to screw it up and she wants to do everything.”
‘I don’t want her to screw that up’: Amanda Holden has revealed that she’s making sure her ‘A* student’ daughter, Lexi, finishes her education before embarking on her modeling career.
Amanda celebrated being re-appointed as the face of Revive Collagen for the second year in a row on Tuesday.
The luxury liquid collagen supplement brand, co-founded by Samantha Faiers, inducted Amanda as a Brand Ambassador in late 2021 for their Collagen Enhanced Plus which sold out.
Amanda swears by the product, crediting it for looking and feeling better than ever at 52 years old.
The mother-of-two explained that Lexi also takes collagen to care for her skin as she prepares for her modeling career.
Amanda said, ‘Lexi takes them too, it doesn’t do her any harm. She has amazing skin, she obviously went through an acne phase when she was a teenager, and she feels like this keeps her neutral and supports her.
‘She’s amazing at makeup, she’s all over TikTok for advice. She is very natural looking and just looks beautiful.’
Last year, Amanda revealed that her daughter Lexi will be joining Kate Moss’ modeling agency after they saw photos of the stunning teen online.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge told MailOnline that Storm, who has propelled Cara Delevingne, 29, and Cindy Crawford, 56, to catwalk stardom, was ‘haunting’ her daughter and it was Lexi’s decision to sign on the dotted line before interest from rival agencies.
She said at the time: “Lexi was contacted last year and obviously we were waiting until she was 16 to sign anything.” It’s something she really wants to do, so I’m taking the lead from her.
She is a very calm girl, but she knows what she thinks. She is very bright and wants to continue her studies.
There is no pressure and we’ll see what happens. But finishing her education is very much her plan, she will have our support in whatever she decides to do.’

Surprising news: In March 2022, Amanda announced that her eldest daughter has signed with the Storm modeling agency as she follows in her mother’s showbiz footsteps.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge also has a youngest daughter, Hollie, 11, with her husband, music producer Chris, 50, whom she met in 2003 before marrying in 2008.
It comes after Amanda revealed that she has banned Lexi from appearing on the ITV2 Love Island dating contest.
She stated she doesn’t want Lexi ‘anywhere near’ the ITV2 dating show, which Amanda’s Heart FM Breakfast Show co-host Jamie Theakston described as ‘manipulative’.
The host previously admitted that her teenage son is “obsessed” with the series, but it doesn’t look like Lexi is following in the footsteps of Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma, 19, anytime soon.
Speaking on her show Heart last month, Amanda spoke to co-hosts Ashley Roberts and Jamie about their children’s involvement in the TV series.
Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley, 41, kicked off the conversation, asking, “Would you ever let your kids go to Love Island?”
Amanda and Jamie quickly shot down the idea: ‘No! Absolutely not.’
Amanda continued: ‘No way, my daughter is turning 18 next year. She’s just another way to be famous, isn’t she? It’s not really about love. It’s all about looking sexy and just getting involved.
“It’s amazing TV, but it’s not really for love, so I don’t want my daughter anywhere near it.”
Jamie replied: ‘You don’t go on that show to find love. You know what I mean? He’s just manipulative.’
Ashley revealed that the couple are not the only celebrities who do not want their children to appear in the famous villa.
She said: ‘Gordon Ramsay feels the same as you. Actually, he doesn’t see it because he has three daughters and he doesn’t even risk them ever appearing on the show.
When asked about her and Lexi’s recent appearances at red carpet events, Amanda admitted, “I’m very aware of the things we go to.”
Wow! Amanda Holden looked beaming as she celebrated being re-appointed as the face of Revive Collagen for the second year in a row.
She said: “So this is becoming an obsession with my teenage daughter at home now.”
Last summer, when the series 2022 aired, Amanda said that her daughter Lexi is “obsessed” with the show and that she had to stomp on it by telling her “no.”
“She’s never been interested in Love Island and now she’s into all of it,” explaining that it was due to the explosive events.
Amanda continued: “Which worries me a little considering Michael Owen’s daughter is in it, and I’m like, ‘You’re never going to do it, Alexa!’
