Other passengers see the commotion and rush to help the woman back on deck.

Bakauheni Port Police Sector chief Ridho Rafika said the incident occurred on the Shalem passenger ferry from Merak to Bakauheni.

Police also reported that the man’s family had said they did not report the incident because the husband suffered from a mental disorder.
