Grace Tame reveals a striking new look with her Rapunzel-length locks as she celebrates her sold-out book tour

Grace Tame showed off her striking new look when she attended the No Woman Left Behind conference on Friday to celebrate International Women’s Day.

The former Australian of the Year, 28, is usually seen with her blonde hair in a tight bun, but decided to reveal her Rapunzel-length locks at the Darwin event.

Photos show Grace posing with other guests, her hair falling past her hips in a dramatic side parting.

Grace’s locks look thicker and longer than usual, suggesting she’s recently enhanced her look with hair extensions.

Grace is currently on a promotional tour for her sold-out memoir The Ninth Life of a Diamond Miner, which she released in September.

The book follows Grace through her childhood experiences of suffering and exposing her sexual abuse through her work as an activist and being crowned Australian of the Year in 2021.

“In 2021, Grace stepped straight into the public eye as the Australian of the Year, and was the catalyst for a tidal wave of conversation and action,” the book’s description reads.

Australians from all walks of life were inspired and moved by her fire and passion. Here she used her voice and encouraged others to use theirs as well.

The ninth life of a diamond miner is the story of Grace, in Grace’s words, on Grace’s terms. Like, Grace, it’s sharply intelligent, deeply felt, and often blisteringly funny.”

Grace will next speak at the Actually Autistic conference alongside Chloé Hayden and Jac den Houting at the Sydney Opera House on Sunday.

It comes after Grace has debunked recent rumors that she has broken up with her fiancé Max Heerey by sharing pictures of him on Instagram.

Breakup chatter made headlines last month after it was revealed that Heerey had left the board of the Grace Tame Foundation, a non-profit he founded with Grace in 2021.

Fans also noticed that the couple hadn’t posted about each other on social media for at least nine months.

Responding to divided rumors via Instagram, Grace shared several photos and a video of Heerey playing with their pet cat Iggy and dog Zappa.

‘Choose your fighter!!! Our growing family,” Grace wrote in the caption.

The couple confirmed they were engaged last January.
