Stacey Solomon shares family snap with Joe Swash and children as she compares them to Brady Bunch

She welcomed her fifth child last month.

And Stacey Solomon gazed on cloud nine as she posed for an adorable family photo with her kids and husband Joe Swash.

The Loose Women star, 33, beamed with pride as she cradled three-week-old baby Belle and took a selfie of her purple-clad brood.

Behind her were her children Zach, 13, and Leighton, 9, from previous relationships, as Joe posed with daughter Rose, 15 months, and son Rex, 2, jumping in front to make faces.

Sharing the snapshot on Instagram on Monday, Stacey wrote: ‘My whole heart is about to burst. Feeling like the real Brady Bunch.

She continued: ‘Happy Sunday from our crazy family to yours. And yes, I did wash my hair today, so I told everyone to go find something purple and mark the occasion with a family photo.

The Brady Bunch debuted on ABC in 1974, and the series was groundbreaking for the time as it saw a blended family take center stage.

Mike (played by Robert Reed) and his three sons have moved in with his new wife Carol (Florence Henderson) and their three daughters as they struggle to live life as one big happy family.

Stacey and Joe have spoken candidly about how they navigate their blended family.

Stacey shares Zachary with teenage love Dean Cox and Leighton with her ex-fiancé Aaron Barham.

Joe is the father of a 15-year-old son Harry, whom he shares with his ex-fiancée Emma Sophocleous.

During her appearance on Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe’s Parenting Hell last year, Stacey confessed that it hasn’t been easy to sell combining their families since they first got together in 2016.

“The blended family situation has been a tough ride,” he explained. That has never been easy. We’ve always had to work very hard to make sure everyone feels safe.’

In 2020, she opened up about her blended family while sharing a snapshot of Leighton, Zachery, and Rex.

She wrote: ‘Brothers. There’s no such thing as half in this house, and that includes ALL FOUR of our pickles.

“They may have different hair, different skin tones, different eye colors and different parents, but they have the SAME LOVE for each other and that’s all that matters.”

For now, Stacey’s main focus has been going about her daily chores and on Sunday she expressed her relief after finally washing her hair after three weeks.

The TV personality took to her Instagram to reveal that she was finally able to find time to clean up her ‘greasy’ locks and joked that she was surprised Joe hadn’t divorced her after leaving him for so long.

Stacey said: ‘Finally done, finally washed this mop, sweet, sweet non-greasy smell.

“I feel excited about it, honestly I feel like I should give a speech, it’s been so long.”

Jokingly, she grabbed a hairbrush as a makeshift microphone and said, “I want to thank my newborn baby for not crying enough for me to wash and condition.”

‘I want to thank my husband for sleeping next to me night after night and not asking for a divorce. It must not have been easy to sleep with the smell.

‘I want to thank you so much for always being by my side and never judging me no matter how many eggs you may fry in my head. Feels so good, happy clean hair day.’
