Donald Trump attended his daughter-in-law Lara’s fashion show at Mar-a-Lago, where the former president took the stage to promote his 2024 run at a fundraiser for a dog rescue.
After praising his son Eric Trump’s wife, Lara, for her efforts to help with the fundraising runway show, the former president took the stage to make a few comments to the friendly crowd.
“Remember this — we’ve got a country that’s in trouble,” Trump said as he stood on the runway and grabbed the mic for a few quick words.
“We will Make America Great Again,” he added to the cheers of the crowd. “We’ll make it better than ever before.”
Lara strutted down the runway in a blue corset dress for a Mar-a-Lago fundraiser as Kimberley Guilfoyle, longtime partner of Donald Trump Jr., filmed her proudly just hours after the pair spoke on CPAC.

After the fashion show, a woman in a zebra-print minidress welcomed former President Trump to the stage and handed him the microphone. An orchestral instrumental version of the Village People hit YMCA played over the speakers in the background.
“I assume Lara is somewhere nearby,” Trump said, scanning the crowd for his daughter-in-law, who stood behind him on stage.
“She’s so incredible, so amazing,” he continued. “She wanted to make this very special this year. She worked with the group behind me and the group in front of me.’
Trump wore a navy blue suit and a red tie.
The ex-commander-in-law’s daughter-in-law seemed to be having the time of her life on the show. She waved her hair, played for the cameras and twirled while showing off her legs in nude high heels.
“Someone (@bigdogranchrescue) made me pretend to be a model again today,” she wrote on social media, thanking the charity for participating.
Guilfoyle – girlfriend of the ex-president’s eldest son, Don Jr., did not go off the runway, but posted a video of Trump and photos with her fiancé’s sister-in-law.
The two-day event — titled “Wine, WoMEN and Shoes” — was held at the President’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida and run by Big Dog Ranch Rescue.
The former made a surprise cameo at the 2021 event.
He called Lara, who helps put the event together, “incredible” before teasing at an eventual Senate battle for his daughter-in-law that never materialized.
