Former Manchester United manager Hemen Tseayo has joined Tottenham as the club’s new director of strategic development, according to reports.
Tseayo parted ways with United last summer after more than a decade at Old Trafford, where he served as director of corporate development and head of corporate finance before his final role as chief strategy officer.
He proved to be a highly influential figure behind the scenes, playing a key role in its listing on the New York Stock Exchange shortly after arriving in 2012 and executing several refinancing transactions.
Tseayo was also one of the driving forces behind the launch of the club’s women’s team in 2018.
However, as part of a board-level shakeup, the Nigerian-born former banker left United in May 2022, following the departures of chief executive Ed Woodward and director of football negotiations Matt Judge.

According the athleticTseayo has taken up a role at Tottenham since bidding farewell to the Red Devils and joining the north London outfit as its director of strategic development in mid-November.
His role with Spurs is understood to be extensive, although he is not directly involved in their football operations.
Instead, her job is to move the club forward in terms of domestic and international growth, which includes overseeing her team of data analysts and helping them improve their use of data.
Tseayo was said to be interested in finding a role with greater executive responsibilities after leaving United, who have yet to name a replacement.
Earlier this month, Tottenham announced a stunning new 15-year strategic partnership with Formula One that will bring a karting experience to its 60,000-seat stadium.
The deal will see them have the world’s first stadium electric karting installation beneath the club’s iconic South Stand, making it the longest indoor track in London.
