The NBA’s all-time leading scorer took to social media Sunday morning to describe the dream he had overnight that promised to be good for basketball lovers.

James and legend Michael Jordan teamed up, but the 38-year-old woke up at a critical stage.

James and fans were left in the dark about how “shooting the shit” with Jordan turned out.

The Tweet began: ‘Just woke up from a dream where MJ and I were shooting back and forth in the Men’s National Championship game between North Carolina and Duke!

James woke up in a crucial stage of the dream, leaving him and fans wondering how it ended.

With the game at a crucial point, James revealed that he woke up and regretted “never getting to the end”.

James’ latest dream comes while he is sidelined with a foot injury.

He will reportedly not need surgery and “probably could ‘play right now’ if he had to.”
