Love Island fans accuse bosses of ‘cutting’ scenes out after Lana Jenkins’ ‘real’ side is shown

Love Island fans have accused the show’s bosses of deliberately ‘cut’ scenes showing the ‘real’ side of Lana Jenkins.

During Saturday’s episode of Unseen Bits, the makeup artist, 25, made her co-stars crack up as she told a hilarious joke.

‘What do you call a woman sitting on top of a house?’ she asked her fellow islanders, before revealing that the answer was ‘Roof’, a twist on Ruth’s name.

Viewers soon claimed that the producers had purposely concealed Lana’s persona, as they took to Twitter to vent their frustration.

They wrote: ‘These producers are hiding the real Lana and her personality from us.‘ and, ‘Lana is so much better at invisible parts.’

A third and a fourth wrote, “Lana is hilarious and it’s a true crime that we don’t see that on the main show” and “The producers are really dirtying Lana on the main show.”

More chimed in with, ‘Lana is so funny and it’s a shame we don’t really get to see a funny side of her on the main show’ and ‘Why don’t they show more of this Lana on the main show? That’s why the unseen is superior to #loveisland.’

Another concluded: ‘Seriously! Lana has a personality that is literally hidden. They need to incorporate more natural funny moments into the main show instead of scripted BS #loveisland.’

During Friday’s installment, viewers of Love Island judged Ron Hall to have more sexual chemistry with his jilted friend Tanyel Revan than his girlfriend Lana after a poll.

On Friday’s episode of the ITV2 show, the couples had to rank each other on various topics based on viewer responses, with Ron and Lana voted as the couple with the least sexual chemistry.

The pair were quick to protest the vote, pointing out that they don’t always have to pack the PDA to show they’re attracted to each other, with Ron later insisting that they know how they feel about each other.

However, fans watching from home were quick to agree with the vote, noting that the pair had little spark between them with one joking that there was “more sexual chemistry between my big toe and my last toe.”

Meanwhile, several pointed out that there was more attraction between Ron and former islander Tanyel, who fans had long suspected had a crush on the boxer, and the duo shared several highly charged moments during the challenges.

On Twitter, viewers had their say, writing: ‘Honestly, I don’t see Ron with Lana. There’s just no chemistry, no spark.

“Admittedly there is no sexual chemistry between Ron and Lana lmaoo even when they don’t kiss at all,” another shared.

A third wrote: ‘Ron had more chemistry with Tanyel as FRIENDS. You always flirt with each other and now all of a sudden he’s not into his girlfriend?

A fourth agreed: “Ron had more sexual chemistry with Tanyel’s partner Lana you need to run girl he’s using you.”

‘Listen to these too much sexual chemistry doesn’t just mean PDA. You have ZERO chemistry. Don’t force it’: commented a fifth.

With another addition: “There’s more sexual chemistry between my big toe and my last toe than Lana and Ron.”

Elsewhere, tensions were brewing after the cast had to decide which pair are the biggest players in the game.

Ron and Shaq Muhammad faced off in the ranking challenge, as the group was tasked with choosing the top three playing couples.

Will Young began by saying that Tanya Manhenga and Shaq, 24, fall into the category, something the couple did not take lightly.

Tanya, 23, told him firmly, ‘No, I’m not going up.’

Shaq then threw Ron and Lana’s name into the ring to try to divert attention from their relationship.

He said, ‘Ron just made Lana his girlfriend because everyone likes Lana.’

Ron then responded, ‘That’s outrageous, that’s not a possibility!’ before Shaq replies, ‘How outrageous is that bro?’
