The bigger the butt, the greater the risk! Surgeon says he would NEVER do a BBL because it’s dangerous
“Here are my top five procedures that I would never have done as a plastic surgeon,” he said before detailing what came first.
The first cosmetic procedure that the doctor said would never be done is a Brazilian butt lift.
The first cosmetic procedure that the doctor said would never be done is a BBL or Brazilian Butt Lift.
“This is the procedure with the highest rate of mortality and complications of any cosmetic procedure,” he explained.
Dr. Kelly also revealed that surgeons who frequently perform BBL are not to be praised for the way they are.
“I don’t like the weird hero-worshipping culture of the surgeon who performs a lot of these surgeries. I think it has a strange factor for me, I would never do it, “added the doctor.
Through fat transfer, a BBL adds volume and accentuates your butt to give you a curvier figure.
According to the International Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeryaround 396,105 people had a Brazilian butt lift.
BBLs have become notorious for having a high mortality rate of one in 3,000.
Dr. Pat Pazmiño, a board-certified plastic surgeon in Miami, said nbc that more people died in 2021 from “Brazilian butt lifts than any previous year.”
‘I don’t like it’: Dr Kelly says you should avoid upper lip lifts
Second, the doctor revealed that she would never get an upper lip lift.
“This is probably going to piss off some of my facial plastic colleagues,” she said before detailing why she wasn’t a fan of the lip lift.
Coming in second place, the doctor revealed that she would never get an upper lip lift.
“I think generally we all get it, we want a bigger upper lip, but the scar isn’t worth it to me.
I can see it in every patient, even the ones who say they can’t see their scars, I can see it.
I don’t like. Everyone knows what you had done, not for me,” she explained.
Dr. Kelly also said she doesn’t like the texture which can cause a stretch on the upper lip.
“I also don’t like how it can rotate the wet part of the red lip and cause sort of a permanent weird texture to the upper lip,” added Dr. Kelly.
During a lip lift, doctors remove the skin between the nose and the edge of the upper lip.
This shortens the distance between your nose and the top of your lip, making your lips look fuller.
Lip lifts have become increasingly popular in recent years, with many women flocking to their doctors for bigger lips.
Although popular, the procedure carries the risk of infection and scarring.
Don’t be fooled by the ‘trend’: The surgeon says fox brow lifts will go out of style, so you have to wear makeup to achieve the look.
“Number three is the fox brow lift,” revealed Dr. Kelly.
The surgeon explained that he should avoid this procedure because it looks ‘weird’ and simply follows a ‘trend’.
‘It looks weird. I would never have a surgical procedure done on my face because of a trend that will probably go away in a few years,” she said.
Instead, the doctor recommended those who want the procedure learn to master the same look using makeup.
“You can make your brow do that on its own by shaving the tip, working on your eye makeup techniques, [that’s] not permanent.
“I would never do that procedure,” he explained.
In the last year, a growing number of women have attempted to achieve a raised brow look through their surgeons or by shaving off the tips of their brows.
The look is also known as ‘designer eyes’ and is all the rage.
It consists of removing excess skin or fat around the eyes to change the shape.
The fox brow lift is very trendy right now, so it’s important to consider what will look good on you for years to come.
The fourth procedure Dr. Kelly would never have done is massive breast fat grafting (file image)
Opt for implants instead! Dr Kelly Says Getting Massive Fat Grafts Into Your Breasts Will Make Them Look ‘Saggy’
The fourth procedure that Dr. Kelly would never have performed is a massive breast fat grafting.
“Number four is massive breast fat grafting, I know I do a lot of breast fat grafting, but if you need that much breast fat to do what you want to do, you’re at higher risk of complications.” like cysts, fat necrosis, contour deformities where you’ve had liposuction all over and the fat just doesn’t have the structure of an implant or breast tissue.
“So you end up with kind of a plumper-looking breast and I would never do that,” the board-certified surgeon explained.
Fat grafting, which is also known as fat transfer, has become an important new breast reconstruction technique.
This procedure uses liposuction to transfer fat from other areas of your body to enlarge your breasts.
According cleveland clinicThe risks of a breast augmentation with fat transfer include: bleeding and bruising, death of fat cells (necrosis) or fat cells moving out of your breasts to different parts of your body, infection, non-cancerous (benign) breast cysts. or breast calcifications.
Although Dr. Kelly admitted to performing these procedures, she explained that only a certain amount of fat should be used afterwards.
He noted that if you want to transfer too much fat, it becomes a problem and you should opt for implants instead.
The surgeon says she would NEVER get a nose job due to the year-long recovery process that includes “unpredictable swelling and scarring.”
Lastly, the surgeon was delighted that she would never get a rhinoplasty or nose job.
“I love rhinoplasties, they are amazing surgeries for the right person, but for me personally, the things I don’t like about my nose are not huge, easily fixed with a liquid rhinoplasty.”
“Personally, I don’t think I can tolerate a year of swelling and the unpredictable scarring that comes with rhinoplasty,” he explained.
Finally, the surgeon said that she would never get a rhinoplasty or a nose job.
Rhinoplasties, or nose jobs, are one of the most common procedures that change the appearance of the nose by transforming the shape of the nose.
According cleveland clinicmore than 350,000 rhinoplasty procedures are performed each year.
The risks of a nose job include: a hole in the nasal septum (nasal septal perforation). Infections, nosebleeds, scarring, skin discoloration, pain, and changes in the sense of smell.
For minor fixes, Dr. Kelly recommended a liquid rhinoplasty.
A liquid rhinoplasty, or non-surgical nose job, is the injection of dermal fillers into the nose to change its shape.
It is known as a painless and quick alternative to going under the knife.
Although it’s not a surgical procedure, Dr. Kelly also revealed that she would never have a thread lift.
‘I would never get a thread lift anywhere. They look good when you’re stationary, but when you’re moving you can see the pull of the threads.
“There are all kinds of weird complications, from infections to extrusions where they break through the skin.
“I’d just never have a thread lift, I think it’s a horrible procedure, honestly,” she revealed.
