Ed Sheeran fans were furious Thursday after a massive ticket sales problem left thousands of concertgoers stranded outside the singer’s concert at the MCG.
The British star performed at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in front of a whopping 108,000 people.
Angry attendees were unable to access their tickets on their phones to enter the stadium after purchasing them through Ticketek.
One fan said ‘thousands’ of people were left queuing outside the stadium desperately trying to make it on time for the show.
‘Hello Ticketek, your system has crashed AGAIN. Thousands outside the MCG, unable to access their tickets. You have failed again in a great event,’ they tweeted.

Meanwhile, another fan said he couldn’t access his tickets for Friday’s show and started to panic.
‘Ummm, this is for Ed Sheeran tomorrow night…anyone else having the same problem?’ one person tweeted.
They included a screenshot that said their tickets were “no longer active.”
However, some fans complained that they could not access their tickets on their phones to enter the stadium, after purchasing them through Ticketek.
According to the Ticketek website, concertgoers can only access their tickets through the Ticketek app and the tickets must be downloaded to their phones.
A note on the site also says that tickets for the Melbourne and Adelaide shows were “blocked”.

At the show, Ed paid a moving tribute to his late friend Shane Warne, who died in March last year at the age of 52 while on vacation with friends in Koh Samui, Thailand.
The 32-year-old English superstar told the crowd it was an emotional experience to perform at the cricket ground where his late friend Shane spent so much time.

Shane’s three children were in the crowd watching Sheeran and his 21-year-old daughter Summer share a video on Instagram of Ed’s moving words.
Speaking to the crowd, Ed said: “Being here tonight is hard without Shane, as this venue was really special to him.”
He then said that he would dedicate his next song “to Shane and his children.”
Before the show, the English superstar posed with Brooke, 25, Jackson, 23 and Summer, before being presented with a photo of Ed with his father and a bottle of wine.
It comes after Ed had an emotional reunion with Shane’s three children in Melbourne.
