Tensions flared when Evelyn spoke about The Kyle and Jackie O Show scandal and a furious Dan (pictured) interrupted via Zoom to dispute her claims.
Dan, who has always insisted he was not one of the men heard speaking on the “butt dial” call, said that while a conversation between a group of MAFS boyfriends had been secretly recorded, he was not involved, and the whole thing. he had been ‘blown out of proportion’ by Evelyn.
But Evelyn maintained that Dan was one of the men insulting his wife, telling radio hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson that she had proof.
“I’m more than happy to get my phone out afterwards, if that helps,” he said.
Dan argued that the moment of the ‘touch-marking’ proves his innocence, because the conversation was overheard at night, by which time he had already gone home.

Supposedly, Dan had told the other boyfriends that his wife, Sandy Jawanda, was not his type and also bragged about her previous conquests.
“I said, ‘What time did this apparent butt banging happen? And she’s like, ‘It was after eight o’clock,'” he said, before telling Kyle and Jackie that he had already left the group by then.
‘There were absolutely things that were said, but the way Evelyn described it and blew it all out of proportion was absolutely not. [what] happened.’
A furious Evelyn responded, “I don’t think it was over the top at all.”
He then disputed Dan’s claim that he had gone home before the boyfriends started complaining about their wives.
“I think you’re probably mad that you got caught and you thought you were going to look like this gentleman, and now Australia hates you,” he said.
Dan went on to say that he had been stitched up early on by the producers “deliberately pairing him up” with Sandy, with whom he has nothing in common, and that the pair had even discussed this in private.

‘I do not think. Well, you should have admitted it that day,” Evelyn replied.
‘Sandy went against her [Indian] culture and his family for this experiment. And if you knew right away, you should have told him,” she added.
‘If that rear-dial [exposing your true feelings] it didn’t happen, you [and Sandy] would have gone all the way [of the experiment]. She would have picked up more feelings, and then you would have let her.

Dan denied that this was the case, telling radio hosts: ‘Absolutely not.
“There are texts between me and Sandy where she says, ‘You told me you could never fall in love with me.
I feel hurt. I feel rejected.” Absolutely, we had those backstage conversations.
“The talks he was having with the guys were very similar to that, saying we deliberately mismatched.”
It comes after Evelyn pushed Sandy aside on Tuesday’s episode of MAFS to let her know she was going to leave Dan and other boyfriends badmouthing their wives.
“I’m about to tell you something I think you might like to know,” Evelyn began.
‘Over the weekend some of the husbands went out for a drink. Rupert marked me butt, he called me pocket.
“I could hear the conversations between some of the kids, very clearly, and they were not saying very nice things about their wives, particularly about Dan.”
A heartbroken Sandy admitted that she was hurt that Dan would do this to her only days after they were intimate.
A shocked Sandy replied, “Dan said he was with his daughter,” to which Evelyn firmly replied, “Dan was out with the kids.”
‘What was he saying?’ Sandy asked.
“I was implying that he’s too good for this experiment and too good for you,” Evelyn said.
Evelyn explained that she later confronted her husband Rupert Bugden about it, who told her that Dan was “showing all the guys pictures of his ex-girlfriends, bragging about how hot they were.” [they] were’.
A heartbroken Sandy admitted that it hurt her that Dan did this to her only days after they were intimate.
She said that although she was upset by the news, she would rather be aware of what was being said behind her back than remain ignorant.
“You deserve better than this,” Evelyn assured him.
“Thank you for telling me this, because I thought I was going crazy,” Sandy replied, before saying that she was fed up with the way Dan had been treating her lately.
Earlier in the episode, Evelyn said she was “disgusted” by some of the things Dan and his partner Hugo Armstrong said about their wives.
“I had a feeling that Dan was a bit of a jerk, but that really cemented my early assumptions,” he said.
