The View co-host Joy Behar made a shocking revelation on Tuesday’s show when she defended Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene after the congresswoman claimed she was attacked in a restaurant by a ‘crazy’ woman and her adult son in a restaurant.
Behar announced during the morning broadcast of the show that he was “siding with Marjorie on this case.”
“I don’t think anyone should go up to any of us in public and harass us, and that goes for you too, Marjorie,” Behar said, though she noted that Greene is essentially condemning something she’s been accused of. doing too
The outspoken TV personality told audience members of a similar experience that happened to her when she was confronted by an angry protester while with her husband.
“She does this and now they’ve done it to her,” he said. “I have to say that I think it’s deplorable that anyone would do something like that, including her and the person who did that to her.”

The right-wing congresswoman was furious when she took to Twitter on Monday to share details of the ambush, even calling the two rioters “demons.”
Marjorie Taylor Greene sent out the post on Twitter Monday night at 10:28 p.m.
Some of Behar’s co-hosts disagreed, including Sunny Hostin, who shared that she, too, had been harassed in public, but was unsympathetic.
“She’s a professional troller,” Hostin said.
‘She was disrespectful to the President of the United States during the State of the Union address. She interrupts people all the time. I need more information.’
Some of the details he wanted to know were the type of restaurant Greene was in, the exchange that took place, and the footage, before he could come to his defense.
But, Behar did not listen to another word, telling his co-partner: ‘Let’s just take his word for it on this one.’
Hostin replied: ‘I can’t do that.’

“I was attacked in a restaurant tonight by a crazy woman and her adult son yelled at me,” she wrote.
“They had no respect for the restaurant or the staff or the other people dining or people like me who just have different political views.
‘They are self-righteous, crazy and completely out of control. I was sitting at my desk, working with my staff, and I didn’t even notice these people until they turned into demons.
‘People used to respect others even if they had different points of view. But not anymore. Our country is gone.
